General description:
Approx. 100 m from a beach is situated the hotel Burj Al Arab. The tourist centre is only a few metres away. The town Deira is around 16 km away. A supermarket and other shopping facilities can be reached after 4 km. There are restaurants and bars within a very short distance of the hotel. Also the nearest disco is around 10 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 4 km away. For mobility there is a taxi rank (around 300 m away). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 3 km away. The airport (AUH) is approx. 117 km away. Another airport (DXB) is located approx. 20 km away.

Hygiene and safety measures
The hotel has already been awarded a local seal of approval for extensive protective measures after appropriate testing.

Recently renovated in 2015, the 27-storey beach hotel has 202 rooms. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, a lift, an air conditioning as well as a parking area (where applicable, for a fee). For the meals, there are 5 restaurants. For guests with physical disabilities the hotel has a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room service is available for a fee. For the laundry / ironing service the hotel charges a fee (where applicable).

Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find one pool with a children´s pool. Here, there are sun umbrellas where applicable, for a fee available.
